Lake Insights shows active weather and safety advisories on each lake’s overview page, together with links to official sources when available.

There is no separate public directory of every alert in the system. Open a lake to read the full text and follow any “Details” link to the issuing agency.

Privacy preferences

Choose which optional cookies Lake Insights may use. Essential cookies stay on so the site works.

  • Essential

    Required for sign-in, security, and core site features. These cannot be turned off because the service would not work without them.

  • Analytics

    Helps us understand how visitors use Lake Insights (for example, pages viewed and performance) so we can improve reliability and content. Data is used in aggregate where possible.

  • Advertising

    Allows advertising partners to show ads and measure performance. When enabled, partners may use cookies or similar technologies per their policies.

  • Functional & preferences

    Remembers optional choices such as display preferences beyond what essential cookies require. Most preference storage today is essential for signed-in features.
